1. Shoulder Stabilization Procedure - Bankart Repair / Latarjet

Bankart Repair

A Bankart shoulder repair procedure is a surgical technique used to repair recurrent dislocations of the shoulder joint. During this procedure, worn ligaments are reattached to the correct place in the shoulder joint in an effort to restore normal function.

Latarjet Procedure

The Latarjet procedure involves bone grafting and muscle/tendon transfer, in which a Bankart repair reattaches a torn labrum and tightens torn or overstretched shoulder tendons. Each procedure can be very beneficial depending on the type of shoulder instability and the cause.

2. Rotator Cuff Repair

Rotator cuff repair is surgery to repair a torn tendon in the shoulder. The procedure can be performed with a large (open) incision or with shoulder arthroscopy, which uses smaller incisions.

3. Slap  Repair and Biceps Tenodesis / Tenotomy

Biceps Tenodesis treats tears of the biceps tendon caused by injury or overuse. The procedure also treats SLAP tears, tears in the labrum (cartilage that lines the inside of the shoulder joint).

4. AC Joint Reconstruction

AC joint reconstruction for recurrent shoulder detachments involves reconstruction with a tendon graft (called an allograft) with mechanical fixation to provide additional fixation of new tissue to the anatomical site of the torn ligaments.

5. Subacromial Decompression and Bursectomy

Subacromial Decompression

Subacromial decompression is an arthroscopic procedure intended to release the tight ligament of the coracoacromial arch and shave a portion of the inferior surface of the acromion. This raises the roof of the shoulder, giving the rotator cuff tendons more room to move underneath.
